Teenage Pregnancy

When a teenager decides to keep the baby, a lot of stress is put on her shoulders. If they keep it, she will have full responsibility of the baby. Unless her grandparents and boyfriend decide to help. Otherwise she'll have to find a job, work full time to support the baby. In that case she won't have time to 'take care' of it,so she will have to pay for a baby sister. And also she has to go to school every weekday and gets heaps of homework or has to study for exams. The baby won't get as much attention and care that a 'normal' parent would give.

That is not always true. It doesn't always put stress on their shoulders and they will not always have to work full time or work at all. Their parents would probably pay for a lot of items to help raise and take care of the baby. They could also get a loan from the bank. Some teenagers could also be on exam leave or they could leave school like some people do. The baby would get attention, just because their parent might have to work or go to school doesn't mean the baby will be neglected and have a normal life. The baby's dad, grandparents, aunties, uncles or other family would look after the baby perfectly well. But if having a baby was too much to handle you could give it up for adoption or abort.

Well if they leave school they won't have a proper education, which will probably lead to a suck job. And to get a job you need to pass your NCEA or Cambridge and get enough credits to get into university to get a well paying job.

But if the parents don't agree with her having a baby then they might not help pay with all the baby's needs. When a teenager gets pregnant it is all there responsibility so it their choice really.

No, Kai Fei, you could still get a good, well paid job even though you left school. And depending on what job you would like to study at University you only need a certain amount of points. Some jobs need more points than others. You could work at a restaurant or at a clothes shop, be a librarian or others. And anyway you don't have to have a job, you could survive perfectly well without a job.
